About Millie
Millie’s journey into the beauty industry began in 2010, following her training in Beauty Therapy, Hair Styling, and Theatrical Makeup at Bournemouth & Poole College. She then gained valuable experience working with premium beauty brands including Clinique, Benefit Cosmetics, and Yves Saint Laurent, shaping her passion for exceptional client care and beautiful results.

At just 19, Millie became self employed, building her business from the ground up with dedication, creativity, and heart. With a love for beauty treatments alongside bridal and special occasion hair and makeup, her focus has always been on helping clients feel confident, relaxed, and truly their best.

Opening her own salon before the age of 30 was one of Millie’s biggest goals. In April 2025, that dream became reality with the launch of Studio 89, now one of Bournemouth’s largest leading salons — a welcoming, inclusive space designed to make every client feel good from the moment they arrive.

Known for her fun, down to earth approach, Millie creates feel good experiences where clients feel listened to, cared for, and confident long after they leave the salon.
Millie specialises in luxury bridal and special occasion hair and makeup, creating timeless, polished looks tailored to each client’s individual style. From soft, glowing bridal beauty to statement evening party glam, every look is designed to photograph beautifully and last all day and night.

"I experienced the most luxurious and relaxing facial with Millie. Millie is lovely, she asked me if I had any particular problem areas and explained what she would be doing during the appointment. The room was very warm and comfortable and the products used felt great on my skin. I really enjoyed the scalp massage. Millie advised me on skin care going forward. I was able to book on an offer but will definitely be booking again and feel it’s totally worth the money. The salon is well situated and parking was easy. I have woken this morning to soft fresh feeling skin."
