Hair and makeup aren’t about changing who you are, they’re about enhancing the glow that’s already there — calm, confident, radiant. From the first brush stroke to the final spritz, it’s your time to be held, pampered, and reminded how beautiful this chapter truly is. Because you don’t just look like a bride… you feel like one.

Hair & Makeup Trials
Your bridal preview is such a special part of the journey and the perfect opportunity to begin bringing your wedding vision to life. I recommend scheduling your trial around 2–3 months before your wedding day, allowing plenty of time for any refinements, tweaks, or feedback so everything feels perfectly tailored to you.
To make the most of your appointment, please arrive with clean, dry hair and well prepped skin, and bring along any inspiration images, accessories, veil, or hair pieces you plan to wear on the day. Wearing a top in a similar shade to your wedding dress can also help you visualise the finished look.
During your preview we’ll explore styles, refine the details, and create a look that feels beautifully you — ensuring that when your wedding morning arrives, everything feels effortless, exciting, and perfectly planned.
Using professional techniques and high performance products, I carefully prepare and set each look to ensure your hair and makeup remain flawless and long lasting throughout the day and into the evening. I use a selection of my favourite trusted products to achieve a beautiful, durable finish. For added peace of mind, I recommend that the bridal party brings their own lip product for touch ups, a light powder, lash glue (especially helpful for teary moments), and a small hairbrush with hairspray to keep everything looking perfect as the day unfolds.
All bridal previews take place exclusively at Studio 89, where we will spend dedicated time perfecting your dream wedding look in a relaxed and welcoming setting. This is your opportunity to explore styles, make adjustments, and truly fall in love with your final look ahead of your special day.
On the morning of your wedding, I will travel to your chosen venue to ensure a calm, seamless and beautifully organised start to your day. All appointments include final touches before the artist leaves, ensuring you and your bridal party look and feel perfect before the celebrations begin.
A non refundable booking fee of 50% of the total quotation is required to secure your wedding date. This will, of course, be deducted from your final balance.
Travel fees are quoted individually based on your wedding location, and any parking charges are kindly covered by the bridal party. If preferred, preparations can also take place at the salon at no additional cost.
For larger bridal parties, an assistant can be arranged to ensure timings run smoothly and preparations stay on schedule. This is subject to a £30 finder’s fee, plus the assistant’s travel expenses.
Please note that Sundays, Bank Holidays, and peak dates incur a £20 surcharge.
For venues located over two hours from Bournemouth, an overnight stay the evening before will be required to guarantee a punctual and stress free start to your wedding morning.
For bookings of four or more services, we kindly request that a light breakfast and a short break are provided during preparations.
